Apple appears to have considered an iPad multitasking feature that mimics the Spaces function in Mac OS X, according to details in a patent filing that was published this week. The technology, which was first submitted in 2009, carries the title "Device, Method, and Graphical User Interface for Manipulating Workspace Views."
