Verizon today began shipping some of the 4G data-only devices it showed at CES. The Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot is its first shipping LTE router and shares its speeds over an 802.11n Wi-Fi connection with as many as five devices, reverting to EVDO 3G if not in one of Verizon's faster areas. It ships on March 31 and will cost $100 with a two-year data contract starting at $50 per month for 5GB, albeit only after a $50 mail-in rebate.
