He notes that the stock that went on sale Tuesday was actually delivered on Monday, but kept from changing hands in order to give inventory control workers time to "calmly and accurately" process it. Clerks who told shoppers that iPads were delivered Tuesday morning were telling a "little white lie" to "avert the wrath of customers," the source claims.
