NewsCorp's daily-updated newsmagazine for the iPad, The Daily, has received an update aimed at making the app more responsive, more stable and featuring better performance when accessing it offline or on 3G. This is the fourth update to the app since it launched in February, and due to early performance issues the "free trial" that was to initially last for two weeks has been extended to "several more weeks" according to a spokesman for the company.
