Twitter on Tuesday suspended a parody account under the name @ceoSteveJobs as being in violation of Twitter rules regarding parody accounts, and after Apple itself formally complained in January. The suspension does not appear to have been due to Apple's complaint, but rather due to the account holder's refusal to comply with Twitter's rules regarding "impersonation accounts" -- though Twitter may not have noticed the account (and it would not have amassed some 650,000 followers) without Apple's initial complaint and the subsequent publicity.
