Apple might not only be one of the two computer builders to avoid a drop in winter sales but could thrive, Taiwan suppliers said Friday local time. It and Samsung are the only notebook makers who won't have run below expectations by as much as five to 10 percent. While Samsung would mostly be "taking up deliveries" to suppliers to reach its goal, however, Digitimes was told Apple was doubling shipments of some of its "hot-selling models."
