Verizon may be partly dropping its controversial rebate practices owing to its upcoming iPhone launch. An escaped memo has shown that it should drop the need for rebates on any device costing $150 or more. The AndroidCentral intercept would have any device under that threshold having a $50 rebate to reach its target price unless it's a clearance item.
