A possible leak this week may have confirmed that Intel is ramping up a very high performance SSD for the near future. The Intel 510, also known by its Emcrest codename, would hit speeds of 450MB per second for peak reads and 300MB per second for writes. The performance slipped to Fudzilla would be nearly double the performance of Intel's best drive line, the X25-E, which reaches 250MB and 170MB per second in each area.
