UK newspaper The Guardian has launched an updated iPhone app, simultaneously announcing subscription plans for UK subscribers. While a basic app is free to download, the complete version costs £3 for six months, or £4 for a full year. American readers can download the app for free, the tradeoff being the necessity of ads.
