Based on a quick analysis of the sales figures announced during Appleís Fiscal Q1 2011 results call, Apple has retaken the mobile OS lead over Android. Apple is currently shipping approximately 366,000 iOS devices each day made up by combined sales of iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. Recently Apple and Google have been leap-frogging each other, as it was only in September last year that Apple was activating 230,000 iOS devices versus Googleís 160,000 activations.
