Citrix has announced that its popular Citrix Receiver application is now available as a free download via the Mac App Store. The software is a lightweight client that can be used to access business desktops and any Windows, Web, or SaaS app. Windows applications can be opened straight from the software, or dragged and dropped into the Mac OS X for quick access. The Mac App Store release has been purpose-built for the new software delivery model, providing users with quick installation and automatic updates.
