Comcast will soon allow people to watch live and on-demand TV through iPads and Android-based tablets, the cable company has announced. Many of the details of the arrangement have yet to be disclosed. The on-demand content, at least, will include just under 3,000 hours of movies and shows, and be served through the cable company's Xfinity TV iPad app. At the moment the app serves mainly as a guide and remote control.
