The lawmakers on Capitol Hill will soon be permitted to use iPads, iPhones and Blackberry devices on the House floor according to a report. Current rules ban the use of such devices although there are moves afoot by the incoming House speaker John A. Boehmer, the Republican Member for Ohio, to relax existing measures. Members would continue to be banned from using the devices for matters unrelated to House matters, such as shopping on Ebay or playing games.
