Taco Software has debuted its first product, a LaTeX editor called Latexian that brings live PDF preview to an editing app, meaning users do not have to run a typesetter to see what the document will look like. Laxtexian can be used with either LaTex or XeTeX typesetters, includes support for BibTex documents and adds other features like tabbed documents, syntax-aware spell checking, code snippet storage, file management and a sophisticated document navigator to the traditional editor.
