Google has taken a 59 percent share of the $877 million US mobile advertising market, according to a report. This was an increase of around 10 percent, which can largely be attributed to its purchase of AdMob as it held an 8.4 percent share on its acquisition by Google. Apple is expected to finish with just under 10 percent of the mobile advertising market that has doubled in value, up from $368 million in 2009.
