HTC on Thursday defended itself against the HD7's reported antenna issue with language much like that used by Apple to defend the iPhone 4. It argued that it put a large amount of effort into the design of the Windows Phone 7 device and that it would keep working when the signal itself wasn't an issue. The nature of hands made it impossible for HTC or any phone maker to avoid signal degradation, it said, much as Apple insisted that all phones had such problems.
