Android Developer Ecosystem lead Eric Chu today said all Android Market apps will need and receive content ratings. The new system will require an All category safe for everyone as well as Pre-teen, Teen and Mature. The ratings will be based on the levels of alcohol and drugs, offensive speech, sex, violence and technical details such as location awareness or user-to-user chat.
