The US Patent Office awarded Apple a range of patents today, including ones for iCal and iChat, the design of the iPhone 4 and iPad, the Point-of-Sale system used in Apple Stores, multi-touch gestures and a method for applying liquid metalonto semiconductor dies or cooling devices to increase their ability to disperse heat.
