In parallel with the iOS 4.2.1 update, which became available at 10AM Pacific time, Apple has released the Apple TV 4.1 firmware. As anticipated, the upgrade primarily adds support for AirPlay, the technology which lets iOS devices stream music, photos and videos to the set-top. Also included is VoiceOver support, which for the visually impaired reads menu and content descriptions out loud.
