Sophos has released its first report for its free Mac anti-virus software. The reports submitted from 50 000 users indicates that Macs are vulnerable to a range of potential threats, largely from Java-based cross-platform attacks and which were found in the internet cache of users hit by a drive-by-attack. Some of the malware is Mac specific such as OSX/Jahlav and DNS Changer that are well-known Mac Trojans.
