Cheetah3D, the low-cost 3D modelling and joint-based character animation tool, sports a complete rewritten transform tool and a host of other improvements as part of its upgrade to v5.6, available now. The update also features new tools for orienting joins, support for various video codecs, auto-highlighting for splines, keyboard navigation for the object browser and many other enhancements and fixes.
