NewsGator has released a new app that extends Social Sites 2010 to workers who use iOS devices. The app offers browserless access to all of the content available through the desktop environment, including features enabled by the new News Stream and Idea Stream packages. When News Stream is on, iPhone and iPad users get news and article headlines streamed directly to them. Idea Stream lets users formally propose ideas to peers, and subsequently cast votes.
