The sighting of an iPhone/iPod compatible sync cable at some retail stores has again spawned rumors of a new carrier agreement with T-Mobile USA. Some industry observers are reading additional significance into the statement yesterday by the CEO of T-Mobile's corporate parent that not having the iPhone is hurting the carrier. T-Mobile has been mentioned several times as a possible alternative carrier for the iPhone, but neither Apple nor T-Mobile has confirmed those rumors.
