Apple's ITC complaints against Nokia are unlikely to hold up, the ITC said in a pre-hearing notice. Investigators working in advance have claimed that some elements of the patents are simply invalid while others weren't violated by the Nokia phones as part of the case. While the possibility remained that the Commission could still rule in favor of Apple, it would limit bans to specific phones rather than a blanket restriction on all the phones covered in the dispute.
