Apple has released a firmware update and restoration CD download for certain Mac Pro systems. EFI firmware v1.5 addresses an issue that caused problems when displaying the firmware password prompt. The update also resolves a problem that prevented the Boot Picker from being presented when a user connected the computer to an Ethernet network without DHCP.
