Research firms are significantly divided on the future of iPad sales in the wake of Apple's Q4 results, which included roughly 4.19 million iPads. Although the number fell under analyst estimates, in one case by over 2 million, the figure still represents an increase over Q3, and is taken to indicate plenty of potential. iSuppli has raised its 2010 forecast from 12.9 million to 13.8 million, claiming that production is the only major obstacle, not demand.
