HP's Palm team has scored a pair of key hires in its plans to rekindle its stalled smartphone plans. A source this evening has revealed that Palm was responsible for the sudden departure of Nokia's MeeGo head Ari Jaaksi (pictured) and will take on the Finnish executive as its senior VP of webOS engineering. AllThingsD's insiders had him starting in November after he moved near Palm's Sunnyvale home.
