Apple this afternoon seeded the Developer Center with iOS 4.2 beta 3 and its companion desktop app iTunes 10.1 beta 2. The releases don't include any immediate change notes but come exactly on Apple's familiar two-week schedule, after beta 2 in late September. The release covers iPads, second-generation iPod touch players and the iPhone 3G or later.
