Apple CEO Steve Jobs reportedly made a rare public appearance on Tuesday night, coming to an event hosted by the Wireless History Foundation. One of the group's stated goals is promoting achievements in the industry; to that effect it was inducting Stan Sigman, a former CEO of AT&T Mobility, into its Wireless Hall of Fame. Jobs was present to congratulate Sigman, with whom he helped devise the iPhone beginning in 2005.
