Adobe have accelerated their usual quarterly security updates by a week in order to patch a "critical vulnerability" in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat for Mac, Windows and Linux, according to the company's web site. The company has issued v9.4 to close vulnerabilities present in v9.3.4 and earlier releases, as well as v8.2.5 to close vulnerabilities on versions of the two products not yet updated to the v9 codebase.
