Apple has been newly granted some 17 different patents, two of which would allow for a 3G-enabled MacBook, according to Patently Apple. In one part of the filing, Apple remarks that "cellular telephone communications could be handled using a multiband cellular telephone antenna and local area network data communications could be handled using a multiband wireless local area network antenna."
