Microsoft took its anti-Mac marketing to social networking in the past day with a PC vs. Mac Facebook app on its Australian fan page. The app hopes to disrupt the stereotypes of Windows users created by Apple's ads by having visitors guess each other's computer choices and has them take quizzes to guess their "allegiances," though the questions don't have much association with computers. Visitors get a chance to win an HP Pavilion dv6 notebook in return for an essay on how they'd use Windows 7 to escape a desert island.
