The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press have both released new applications for the iPhone and iPod touch, each produced in collaboration with DoApp. The free apps, which are sponsored by the Southeast Michigan Ford Dealers, provide users with the latest news, sports, business, and entertainment headlines. Through the use of GPS, each application can also allow users to find localized weather and traffic reports. In addition, both apps can be found in the Android Market, while the BlackBerry-compatible versions are expected to become available within the next week.
