A New Jersey-based company called Multi-Format has filed a patent infringement suit against Apple. The legal battle will focus on several claims of a patent related to multi-format video systems. Apple has been accused of violating the patent claims by offering videos, via iTunes, for a variety of devices such as Apple TV, iPhones and iPods.
