Despite trying to debunk rumors of a self-made phone, Facebook today was claimed to both still be working on the project but to have picked its choice of OS. A source for SAI maintained that the phone would use Android as its foundation and focus mostly on making the platform more aware of the social network. It's speculated that Android Senior Product Manager Erick Tseng's decision to leave Google for Facebook was to have him head up the phone project.
