Android has taken US market share from both the BlackBerry and iPhone again over the summer, comScore found today. Android jumped almost 42 percent to claim 17 percent of the American smartphone arena as of July data, directly at the expense of both Apple and RIM. The iPhone is back below a quarter of the field at 23.8 percent, while the BlackBerry has slipped at a faster rate to 39.3 percent.
