Pioneer today revealed its new HDJ-500 entry-level DJ headphones. Designed with comfort and longevity in mind, it uses leather-wrapped urethane pads to provide a more comfortable user experience that is also hard-wearing. The main structure of the headphones is made of magnesium alloy, which is both strong and lightweight. As with with many DJ-style headphones, the HDJ-500 includes a rotating arm structure that allows the user to twist the right earpiece forwards or backwards by as much as 60 degrees to keep one ear open for a crowd.
