As expected, Apple's special media event includes the unveiling of a new iPod touch. The fourth-generation design retains the same rounded housing as its predecessors, although the profile is slightly thinner. The device has adopted the iPhone 4's retina display, a 960x640 IPS panel featuring 24-bit color.
