Apple has announced that it will broadcast today’s iPod event live over the Internet. According to the press release, Apple will use its “industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming,” which is based on open standards, to provide a live video stream of the event, being held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.
