Outer Level has launched a new edition of its personal travel planning software, Knapsack 2. The program searches through places, addresses and points of interest on a trip. It can create packing lists, generate detailed itineraries and to-do lists, and track locations and activities. It also allows users to keep notes on locations after a trip. Smart folders organize information from multiple trips along different themes, such as Europe or business. Data is synced with iCal to populate travel info for iOS calendars.
