Apple support forums to gain custom profiles, reputations

Even as the company copes with security problems, the official Apple support forums will soon be getting a major revision, according to an announcement. Replacing the current Discussions area will be the Support Communities, with features such as personal profiles and custom avatars. These profiles will also allow for a customized view of the forums, including widgets.
