Electronic Arts has released the first version of Madden for the iPad, Madden NFL 11. The game is launching today alongside console and iPhone editions; like the latter, the iPad title features several upgrades over Madden 10 such as Total Defensive Control, allowing players to pause and reposition defense. A new playbook is intended to reduce the time spent planning.
