Cablevision will let its subscribers stream cable programming to wireless network connected devices such as the iPad, the provider said. With their handheld devices, users will also have the ability to browse and access digital video content from their TVs. In contrast to other providers such as Comcast, however, this functionality will be limited to a subscriber's home only and not available remotely; it will likely check for a Cablevision IP address.
