The Japanese government has now ordered Apple Japan to post a message on its website, Reuters reports, informing the public it can get a replacement battery for the iPod nano. The demand follows years of pressure, to which Japan's industry ministry has accused Apple of being unresponsive. Some 27 first-generation Nanos have been recorded overheating in the country, resulting in six fires, and four incidents with minor burns.
