Bell today announced it will begin field trials of its new 42Mbps network this month. This follows internal trials of its HSPA+ 3G service, which promises to deliver significantly faster download speeds for its Canadian customers. This development comes after news from Telus, which yesterday announced that would be the first carrier in North America to support the theoretical maximum 42Mbps speed of HSPA+ on its 3G network.
