According to a new report from the NPD Group, Android devices were the top selling smartphones by OS in the U.S. during the second quarter. The report states that Android phones accounted for 33 percent of smartphone sales, ahead of RIM/BlackBerry with 28 percent and the iPhone with 22 percent.
