Recently, critics of Microsoftís decision-makers have called on the companyís CEO, Steve Ballmer, to step down and give someone else with fresh ideas the opportunity to set the companyís direction. Itís a call that has been running through Redmond for years. And just as before, it wonít be enough to get Ballmer out of there. Perhaps, then, itís time to turn our attention to Cupertino and Apple.
