Google is hastening talks to launch its Google Music service before the end of the year, purported insiders said on Monday. Its Android lead Andy Rubin is in "accelerated" discussions with the Harry Fox Agency to get access to at least 27,000 songs on top of other deals. The move to smaller groups suggested to the New York Post that Google had already struck deals with major labels and was focusing on rights for independents.
