Problems with the iPhone 4 obtained extra publicity on Tuesday night with the airing of a new Top Ten segment on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman. While purely in fun, the segment was titled "Top Ten Signs You've Purchased a Bad iPhone," and traded on the currency of media reports about possibly faulty design leading to signal drops. When holding an iPhone 4 with a particular grip, especially a left-handed one, signal can at least appear to drop from a near-perfect level to nil.
