Google has confirmed that the Android Market currently contains 70,000 titles, far short of the 100,000 estimate recently published by AndroLib, according to numbers provided during the company's Q2 earnings call. The official numbers suggest the portal still pales in comparison to Apple's App Store, which is filled with over 225,000 apps.
